These pages are general website terms and notices. They are not a substitute for legal advice.

01

About These Terms

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of https://criflet.com and its public content, forms, and features. The website is operated by Ali Ahsan under the business name Criflet.

Criflet is currently an independent, founder-operated software brand and is not a separately incorporated company. By using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.

02

Purpose of the Website

The website provides information about Criflet, software-development services, industries and solution areas, experience and selected work, software and product insights, ways to contact Criflet, and ways to submit a potential project enquiry.

Website content is provided for general information and business communication. It is not a binding offer, quotation, warranty, legal opinion, financial advice, regulatory advice, or commitment to provide services.

03

No Client Relationship

Visiting the website, sending a message, submitting a project brief, joining a call, or receiving an initial response does not automatically create a client relationship, contract, partnership, employment relationship, agency relationship, obligation to accept a project, obligation to issue a quotation, or obligation to keep unsolicited information confidential.

A client relationship begins only when the relevant parties enter into a separate written agreement or otherwise expressly agree to binding terms.

04

Project Enquiries

Project forms help Criflet understand a possible project. Submitted information may be used to assess technical and commercial fit, identify missing details, recommend discovery or planning, suggest a smaller or phased scope, arrange an introductory conversation, or decide not to proceed.

Any early estimate, range, timeline, technical suggestion, or scope discussion is preliminary unless included in a final written agreement.

Project cost and timing may depend on requirements, user roles, integrations, data migration, design readiness, third-party services, security requirements, technical risks, scope changes, client response times, testing and approval, and deployment conditions.

05

Permitted Use

You may use the website for lawful purposes, including learning about Criflet, reviewing services and work, reading public articles, contacting Criflet, submitting a genuine business or project enquiry, and sharing links to public pages.

06

Prohibited Use

Criflet may block, restrict, or report activity believed to be abusive, harmful, or unlawful.

  • Do not use the website unlawfully, fraudulently, deceptively, or to submit false identities or misleading business information.
  • Do not send spam, bulk solicitations, irrelevant promotional messages, malware, malicious scripts, harmful files, confidential credentials, or unlawful material.
  • Do not attempt unauthorized access to the website, server, forms, accounts, code, or data.
  • Do not interfere with security, availability, performance, monitoring, rate limits, access controls, consent tools, or technical restrictions.
  • Do not scrape, copy, harvest, scan, or test vulnerabilities in a way that violates law or these Terms.
  • Do not impersonate Criflet, Ali Ahsan, a client, or another person, or create a misleading affiliation or endorsement.
  • Do not reproduce substantial website content for commercial use without permission.

07

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the website's original content and presentation, including text, layouts, graphics, diagrams, brand elements, design components, and original code, are owned by or licensed to Ali Ahsan operating as Criflet. All rights are reserved.

You may view public pages, print or save limited extracts for personal or internal business evaluation, share links to public pages, and quote brief extracts with clear attribution where legally permitted.

You may not reproduce substantial portions of the website, republish website copy as your own, sell or commercially exploit website materials, remove ownership notices, use Criflet branding misleadingly, or copy the website to impersonate Criflet.

08

Portfolio and References

The website may describe projects developed by Ali Ahsan, work completed during employment, collaboration, contracting, education, or independent development, original product concepts, products in research or development, and third-party services or technologies.

Where practical, Criflet aims to describe the nature of the contribution accurately. A project reference does not necessarily mean Criflet owns the product, created every component, currently operates the project, is endorsed by the project owner, or guarantees identical results for another client.

09

User Submissions

When you submit text, links, or other materials, you represent that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge, that you have the right to provide it, that it does not violate confidentiality, privacy, intellectual-property, or other rights, that it does not contain malware, and that it is relevant to the enquiry.

You retain ownership of your original materials. You grant Criflet limited permission to access, store, review, reproduce internally, and use submitted materials only as reasonably necessary to respond to the enquiry, evaluate the proposed project, communicate with you, provide requested services, comply with law, and protect legal rights and security.

10

Confidentiality

Criflet treats genuine business enquiries with professional care. However, the public website form is not intended to establish a formal confidentiality obligation.

Do not submit trade secrets, private source code, passwords, production credentials, confidential customer datasets, regulated records, or sensitive business documents unless an appropriate secure method and confidentiality arrangement have been agreed.

11

Accuracy and Educational Content

Criflet aims to keep public information accurate and useful, but does not guarantee that all content is complete, error-free, continuously current, suitable for every business, or available at all times.

Technology, APIs, third-party services, laws, prices, capabilities, and recommended practices can change. Independently verify information before making important technical, financial, legal, security, compliance, or business decisions.

Articles, guides, examples, and explanations are provided for general educational purposes and are not a substitute for advice from a lawyer, accountant, tax adviser, cybersecurity professional, privacy specialist, regulatory adviser, or other qualified professional.

12

Third Parties and Availability

The website may link to external websites or use third-party services. Criflet does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, data practices, terms, products, statements, or transactions. A link does not necessarily indicate endorsement.

Criflet may modify the website, add or remove content, suspend features, perform maintenance, restrict access, discontinue pages, or change contact methods without guaranteeing uninterrupted availability.

13

Security and Warranties

You must not rely on the public website as a secure repository for confidential information. Criflet takes reasonable steps to protect the website, but no system is completely secure.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website is provided on an as available and as is basis. Criflet does not warrant that the website will always be available, all content will be free from error, the website will meet every requirement, or that an enquiry will be accepted.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.

14

Liability and Indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Criflet and Ali Ahsan will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or business losses arising from use of or inability to use the public website.

Any liability relating to paid services will be governed by the separate agreement for those services.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for loss, damage, claims, or reasonable costs arising from your unlawful misuse of the website, violation of these Terms, submission of content without authorization, or infringement of another person's rights.

15

Privacy and Governing Law

Personal information is handled according to the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Those policies do not replace project-specific data-processing or confidentiality terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without prejudice to mandatory consumer or privacy rights that may apply in another jurisdiction. Before formal proceedings, the parties should attempt in good faith to resolve a website-related dispute through written communication.

Where a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction in Pakistan, unless applicable mandatory law requires otherwise.

16

Changes and Contact

Criflet may update these Terms to reflect changes in website features, business practices, services, legal requirements, or business structure. The latest version will be posted with the updated date.
